We're partnering with local business to bring fun events to the Columbia Crossings community. Here's what is coming up in August:

Smile Boat Parade Returns

Columbia Crossings is proud to return as a sponsor of the Smile Boat Parade, happening on August 22nd, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Smile Boat Parade is a celebration of the North Waterfront and our beautiful community, open to anyone who can float! The parade starts at the Portland Yacht Club and cruises down river under the I-5 Bridge to end at the Railroad Bridge, just over 2 miles. Awards and after party will happen at Parade end, just west of the railroad bridge. Pal's on the Lawn

Spend your Thursday afternoons with Pal's on the lawn with rotating DJs, seasonal pours, and laid-back summer vibes. Free and all ages, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM every Thursday. Presented in partnership with Freetime Wine and Coava Coffee.

Jantzen Fuel Depot

Starting July 2nd, Jantzen Fuel Depot's updated extended hours will be Monday through Friday 10am-8pm, and Saturday & Sunday 9am-8pm. Columbia Crossings boaters will continue to receive 10¢ off per gallon. They have recently serviced their facilities and all four pumps are now up and running.

Island Sailing

Island Sailing is hosting weekly races, every Monday evening at 6:00pm at their club house. Participants are encouraged to show up around 5:00pm to get sorted onto teams and complete boat rigging. These performance races include club members and anyone from the community that's interested in learning more about the club, getting experience on their J/24 boats, as well as getting acquainted with other members from the club. There are usually three races that require practicing techniques that members can learn from Island Sailing's ASA 101 classes. These social races are a great chance to try out Island Sailing and get out on the water! You can visit their website to learn more.

Pal's Wine on the Deck

The Pal's Wine on the Deck series continues ever Tuesday in August! Pal's will welcome a different winery or importer each week to pour and talk through their bottles, paired with a simple seasonal menu from the kitchen and a relaxed seat on the deck overlooking the marina. August 4th, 2026 — Buona Notte Wines
Graham just opened his new place, The Stazione, and it’s wonderful, sign up for a wine club and have a reason to go back and visit him often.

August 11, 2026 — High Five Selections Wine Company
Dana and Scott Frank have an impressive track record in this town, if they decided to start an import business, it means they wanted stuff they couldn’t find. But now you’ve found them. 

August 18, 2026 — Redolent Wines
Boyd has been making wine at his micro-négociant since 2015 in Amity, he’s focusing on elegance, and we can see no better way to run out the summer on the water. Boat up to the dock and grab an early meal.

August 25, 2026 — Ridgecrest Wines
Wynne Peterson-Nedry grew up in the vineyard, went off to learn a few things in Burgundy, New Zealand, and at UC Davis, then came home to make wine with her dad. Forty-one harvests in, Ridgecrest has plenty to talk about, and Wynne will be here to do the pouring.
