We're partnering with local businesses to bring fun events to the Columbia Crossings community. Here's what is coming up in October:

Island Sailing

Island Sailing is launching a new social club, giving members an opportunity to connect and get to know one another over drinks and appetizers. Social gatherings will be held on the first and third Wednesday of each month, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. They will be meeting at 3 Sheets at the Harbor: 115-5 NE Yacht Harbor Dr.

Island Sailing has also added a Newport 30 sailboat to its fleet. The boat is currently receiving its finishing touches and will soon be available for rent, featuring a new stuffing box, through-hulls, and transmission.

Hook'em Up Guide Service

After a successful summer and Chinook season, Hook'em Up Guide Service will be running King Salmon and Coho Salmon trips through October in Portland. Pal's Dinner and Brunch Returns

The kids are back in school, the evenings are getting a little cooler, and dinner and brunch are returning to Pal’s.

Weekend Brunch: Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 am–1:00 pm

Indoor table service with a proper brunch menu, plenty of coffee or cocktails, and a relaxed morning by the water.

Dinner: Wednesday–Sunday, 5:00–9:00 pm

Join Pal's inside for full table service, dinner entrees, seafood towers, wine, cocktails, and a long evening dockside.

The all-day counter service menu isn’t going anywhere. It will still be available every day for anyone looking to keep things casual, grab something outside, or stop by whenever the weather cooperates. Tables inside and on the back deck can be reserved through OpenTable. Walk-ins are always welcome too.

Bayocean Oyster House x Pal’s

On Saturday October 10th, Jacob Harth of Bayocean Oyster House joins Chef Conrad Gonzalez at Pal’s for a full-day seafood collaboration. From 11:00–5:00, Pal's will be casual with counter service, a collaborative menu, and a substantial Bayocean shellfish and raw-bar offering. At 5:00, the restaurant will transition into reservable indoor dinner service, with the collaboration continuing through the evening.

Pumpkin Painting at Pal’s — Weekends in October

Pal's is bringing back the little pumpkin patch and painting setup on weekends throughout October. They will have pumpkins, hay bales and festive fall decor set up outside, with $5 getting kids a pumpkin plus paint and paintbrushes. Setup will be staffed from roughly 9:00–4:00 each weekend, so families can stop by, paint a pumpkin, have lunch, and spend some time by the water.

Columbia Crossing is working hard to improve and enhance the area around the food cart! While the lot may look a little busier than usual with construction, Angelina’s Greek Gyros is OPEN and ready to serve you.
